While I’m sad about Dr. Levy’s passing, I’m glad I got to know him as the father in-law of my best friend, Vic, and father of Polly. Ironically, it was at Shivas where I got sit down with Dr. Levy and hear about him growing up in Chicago, memorizing the City’s massive street-grid and numbering system to where he could tell you what intersection it was by names of the cross-streets. When Vic passed away, I could see how sad Dr. Levy was. They had grown very close which is testament to both men. I was honored to be part of this connection even for a little while. RIP, Dr. Levy. Thank you for a life well-lived.
