On my first day as her caregiver, Michelle and I took Andi for a walk with Ruby. Even though she had just met me she held my hand the entire walk, and pulled me out of the way of the bushes and branches and kept pace with me so I wouldn’t fall behind. She was one of the sweetest and most considerate and caring people I’ve ever met. I’ll always remember her loving nature and beautiful smile.

When my husband Jeff and I moved to Northbrook twelve years ago, it was our great fortune that Andi was the very first neighbor we met. Andi was the epitome of a welcoming, generous, caring person who always looked out for her friends and neighbors. We became fast friends, going on long walks and sitting on our front porch discussing how to solve the world’s problems and sharing family news, rejoicing in the happy events and consoling each other during the sad times. I miss her smiling face, her wonderful sense of humor and her kindness.
May she be raised up on eagles’ wings and be in the comfort of God’s embrace.

I had the pleasure of meeting Andi in July of 2010 in Las Vegas, when the Pines contacted me to interview for the management of a home they had purchased. I had no idea that chance meeting would change the course of my life.
Over the next 16 years, the Pines became so much more than clients. They became family. Jay and Andi are truly the brother and sister I never had.
Through the years, we shared so many memories, including the purchase of Tex, a horse we shared ownership in. Although owning a horse may not have been Andi’s cup of tea, she was always a trooper. She bought the cowboy boots, the saddle, and showed up with her whole heart. Many afternoons were spent together at the barn, enjoying lessons on one of our many horses. I always believed Andi preferred our Andalusian, Lotto, over Tex the “Barbie Pony,” as we called it, because Lotto was a bit tamer and slower in the arena.
I will deeply miss their trips to Las Vegas, evenings spent playing Hand and Foot, which I was terrible at, Andi’s macaroni and cheese, and the little bag of hard candies she always had with her. Butterscotch will forever remind me of her.
I learned so much from Andi and will forever cherish the memories we made. She will be deeply missed and always lovingly remembered. My deepest condolences to the Pine Family.

I am so grateful to have known and cared for Andi for the past 3 years. She became such a special part of my life, and I will forever cherish our time together. I will always think of her when I hear “House of the Rising Sun” or Taylor Swift playing our daily dose of music in the car will always be one of my favorite memories with her.
Sending love, prayers and condolences to the family
