Helen Rae Marks (nee Hyman), 97, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Michael for 51 wonderful years; loving mother of Rochelle (Leonard) Millman and Martin (Sindy); cherished grandma of Marc (Keri) Millman, Brian (Shin) Millman, Josh (Annie) Millman, Matthew Marks, Samantha (Brian) Gitlin, Rachel (Collin) DeGrassi and Ali Marks; adored great-grandma of Isabella, Cece, Teddy, Bayla, Bodhi, Maverick, Demi, Lainie and Colton; much-loved sister of Barbara (the late Seymour) Brandon; doting aunt of Bonnie (Larry) Berg and the late Marci Brandon; wonderful great-aunt of Jamie (Ritchie) Yates and Jory (Caroline) Berg; and friend to many. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Marianne Bennett for her exceptional care and devotion to Helen.

Helen was a phenomenal woman who always saw the world through a positive lens. She and her beloved Michael were high school sweethearts, and together they built an amazing family filled with love, laughter and treasured memories. Helen was devoted to her family, and hosting holidays was one of her greatest joys, as family was truly her everything. She was especially proud of her connection to Israel and her Jewish heritage. Her warmth, optimism and unwavering love for her family touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Helen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
