Mark was an amazing intellect. When I first came to Northrop he pioneered the career map for Northrop. Working with him, then, I didn’t realize how impactful Mark’s contributions have been to Northrop and the engineers around him, but in just that one contribution, I still am amazed at how many people still use that map for their own careers. In that way he impacted many of the engineering works and people around him. I also appreciate that my wife and I got to sit and talk to him and his wife when we won the President Leadership Award at the RM campus. Mark may my family greet you in heaven and may you impact those up there just as much as you did down here. Peace be upon you and your whole family.

One of the best engineers I’ve ever worked with, always had a broad view of the entire problem, and a great example and teacher. Other colleagues wrote –
Jim Messina “Mark and I worked together on several programs. He taught me; he helped me and he was a good friend… and most of all I saw what a good, good man he was. I will miss him and was priveleged to know him.”
Mike Johnson “Mark critiqued my work on several programs and training classes. He was a critical part of our education. I did and will continue to miss him as a mentor.”

Mark always had time to speak with anyone who had a question. He was patient, funny and a true gentlemen. I have many fond memories of trips and many hours of lab time we spent together. May God bless his soul.

It has been years since I have seen Mark. I remember as a really warm and fun loving frat brother. If, I understand he had Parkinson’s. I share the grief, I too lost my wife over 6 yrs ago, to that dreaded disease! My sincere condolences. May His Memory Be A Blessing! Alan Friedlander
