Obituary

Sherwin DeGraff, 83. Beloved husband of the late Jane Moore DeGraff; devoted father of Roxanne DeGraff (Dennis Trelinski) and Michael (Kristin) DeGraff; proud grandfather of Addison and Lillian DeGraff; cherished son of the late Seymour and Bertha; caring uncle of many. Sherwin was a lifelong lover of art and a talented artist, like his wife. After graduating from the School of The Art Institute of Chicago, he spent his career in the fine arts, with many gallery exhibitions over the years. He took true pleasure in creating art, until the very end, envisioning work that would offer eternal inspiration to others.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Marwen Foundation, https://www.marwen.org.

You were at our house one time when Marge visited from St Louis, and us girls did a side trip to Highland, Indiana to see the house we grew up in, and Sherwin, acting like a parent, asked us all if we had gone to the bathroom before we got in the car. So funny.
He was always very thoughtful.
