Burton “Burt” Benjamin, 95, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Sheila (née Schwartz) for 70 wonderful years; loving father of Miriam (Donald) Pike, Andrea (Ronald) Widen, and Gail (Jack Bierig) Shaps; cherished grandpa of Rebecca Pike (Jose Gabriel Pereira) de Oliveira, Rachel (Roy Daniel) Pike, Jason (Emily) Widen, Ari (Liz Ribordy) Widen, Marni Widen, Erica (Michael Doron) Shaps, and Jaclyn (Gregory Sanders) Shaps; adored great-grandpa of Edith Widen, Sloane Daniel, and Brooke Widen; much-loved brother of Gloria Lappe and the late Donald Benjamin; dear friend of Bradley Shaps; treasured uncle, great-uncle, and friend of many. Burt was passionate about his profession, his business, his hobbies, and most of all, his adored family.
