Obituary

Dr. Scott Shore, 84, beloved husband of the late Roberta “Bobbie” Shore, née Elrod, happily married for 60 wonderful years; loving father of Andrew and Michael (Margaret) Shore; cherished grandfather of Jacob, Katie, Matthew and Allison Shore; much loved brother of Helene (Joel) Schwartz; brother-in-law of Elyce (Mark) Metzner; treasured uncle, cousin, friend, and colleague to many. The family would like to thank Scott’s caregivers Marquise Janvier and Joseph Dalton for their dedication and compassion. Dr. Shore was a leader in pediatric dentistry for many years. He made a lifelong commitment to children, especially children with special needs. He was incredibly caring and generous – he will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Chapel service Thursday July 2, 2026, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
