Obituary

Dr. Stuart J. Perlik, JD, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026. Beloved son of the late David and Thelma; much loved brother of Jeff (Valerie); and dear cousin of Alan (Rita) Levin, Barry (Rosemary) Levin and Gail (Irv) Veitzer. Stuart was an alumnus of the University of Illinois and went on to attend medical school at Loyola University. Following medical school, Dr. Perlik became a highly respected neurologist. He continued his education by earning a JD from DePaul University and later served as a consultant for insurance companies. Dr. Perlik also worked at the VA in the Department of Neurology. He was a dedicated and compassionate physician, deeply committed to his patients. Dr. Perlik quietly supported numerous charities and causes, never seeking recognition for his generosity. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Memorial donations in his name may be made to the Lubavitch Chabad of Northbrook, www.chabadnorthbrook.com. Chapel service, Tuesday, April 7, 2026; 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
