Obituary
Bonnie was a dedicated and proud pharmacist who spent more than 40 years serving her community through Jewel-Osco Pharmacy. Known for her determination and strength, she completed numerous half marathons and twice crossed the finish line of the Chicago Marathon, all while living with only one lung. Bonnie found joy in playing Mah Jong and Canasta. She had a true gift for gardening and a green thumb that filled her home with beautiful plants. Above all else, Bonnie’s greatest pride and happiness came from her family and friends. She cherished every moment spent with them, and her love, devotion, and unwavering support will be remembered always.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation (NETRF) at www.netrf.org or UT MD Anderson Hospital at www.mdanderson.org. Chapel service Thursday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Immediately following the chapel service, the interment will take place at Shalom Memorial Park. I met Bonnie years ago at Beth Tikvah Congregation. She was just the kindest person and always was available to
lend a hand in all Sisterhood activities. My daughter babysat for the girls when they were younger. I remember her
moving into her Hoffman Estates homes. I am deeply saddened for all who loved her.

I am saddened to learn of Bonnie’s passing. We first met in kindergarten and went through both elementary and high school together. We had many common interests, shared the work on numerous school projects and always had a smile for one another whenever we would meet. Over the years we did manage to keep in touch from time to time and I would be sure to seek her out and spend quality time at reunions and the like.
I always had a special place in my heart for Bonnie, and I always will.
May her memory be a blessing.

I knew Bonnie since high school. We kept in touch whenever we could. Unfortunately as things go you tend to lose touch after a while. We reconnected a number of years ago. Bonnie was probably one of the strongest women I ever knew. Not everybody could go through what she did and come through it with so much zest for life. I am very sad that she is gone, but I know that she is no longer suffering. My deepest condolences to her daughters and the rest of the family. May her memory be for a blessing.

My deepest sympathy and prayers to the Liebovich family, especially her daughters, Sheri and Alyse. I knew Bonnie from pharmacy college. Bonnie was always a strong, positive, friendly person and I am so grateful for having had her friendship! Her determination in running was so remarkable and inspirational after her cancer surgery. Bonnie will always be a special part of our pharmacy group! She will be deeply missed! I believe she is in paradise. Miss you Bonnie….. Bonnie McKeon pharmacy college Naperville

Dear Alyse, Sheri, Michele & Lou,
Even though I couldn’t be in Chicago in person, I was so grateful to be able to view the funeral service by streaming/ZOOM. I very much enjoyed knowing Bonnie for so many years, and I can only agree with the sentiments about Bonnie that Lou, Sheri and Alyse shared. I will miss her and wish that she rest in peace.

Dear Alyse, Sheri and Michele,
My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother, sister. Your Mom and my sister Alice’s friendship goes way back to
Sullivan High School so I have also known her all these years thru backyard barbeques and celebrations. She will be missed.

I share many fond memories of days spent in West Lafayette and occasionally in Chicago. With Lou, Kathy and Bonnie many, good times were spent in days long ago, but never far away in my memory bank. May Bonnie rest in peace and may Alyse and Sherri have many healthy and happy days ahead, always having their mother with them in spirit.

I’m so sorry to hear about Bonnie’s passing. She was a true trooper. I will always remember her as brave and stoic when facing so many adversaries. A great role model. And she and Michele were the two cousins one could always count on to show up. My heart felt sympathies to Michele, Sheri, and Alyse. May her memories serve as great comfort to you all.

Bonnie was referred to me back in 2014 by Robert Joseph. We met and put together a plan to help her develop a strategy for investing her retirement and personal funds. Over the years we would talk about every 6 months & meet at least once/year. She was appreciative of how her accounts had grown & very easy to communicate with. Bonnie had a great deal of confidence in Bob Joseph & often relied on his suggestions. Bob influenced Bonnie to meet with our TEAM & the relationship continued on for over 12 years. Bonnie will be missed but before she died she wanted to make sure her daughters would benefit from her financial rewards. Despite her pains & health issues she really chose not to complain but to do the best she could.
