Doreen Triber, devoted daughter of the late Hyman and Loretta; beloved friend/family to Tony Recchia; cherished cousin of Susan (the late Chuck) Nochumson, Cheryl (Daniel) Glickstein, Francine (Stuart) Brottman, Josephine Wayne, and Alan (Betty Ann) Izenman; will be missed by extended family and friends in the US, UK, and beyond. Doreen worked for about 25 years at the University of Chicago in Hyde Park as assistant to hospital administrator of the Neurology department. There they became not only working colleagues, but long-lasting friends socially. During Doreen’s time living at Celebrate Senior Living in Niles, where she was well cared for, she made many friends and enjoyed being with all of them. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org. Graveside service Friday, July 17, 11 AM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W.
