Linda M. Barenbaum, nee Howerton, 55. Beloved wife for 31 years to Jerry; devoted mother of Aaron and Julia Barenbaum; treasured sister of Vince (Paula), Ken (Lola), Brian, and Tim (Beth) Howerton and sister-in-law of Jamie (Kelly) and Marty Barenbaum; cherished aunt of many; dear daughter of the late Victor and Lillian Howerton and daughter-in-law of Marsha (the late Samuel) Barenbaum; caring niece of Bob (Katie) Engel; will be deeply missed by cousins and friends. Linda was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 30 years ago but overcame every obstacle it placed in her path. She worked as a nurse until very recently. She attended concerts, sporting events, family vacations, and traveled extensively, letting no sand, stairs or crowds limit her. Her strength and perseverance will be remembered by all whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National MS Society, www.nationalmssociety.org.
