Neal I. Kirschenbaum, 89. Beloved husband for 63 years to the late Marilyn; devoted father of Karen and the late Linda Kirschenbaum; cherished Papa of Janey Rose; loving brother of the late Gloria (the late Albert “Obbie”) Kessler and Gerald “Sonny” (the late Lillian) Kirschenbaum; caring brother-in-law of the late Edward Mitzen; treasured uncle of several nieces and nephews; best bud of Richie Alvarado; dear friend of Sheri Ann (the late Jay), Sandra (Sheldon), Marlene (the late Joey), the late Essie (the late Howard), and the late Rosie (the late Herbie). Neal was a retired Cook County Sheriff’s Police Investigator. He will be remembered for his kind, loving personality and goofy sense of humor.
