Dennis “Denny” Snyderman passed away on September 24, 2026 at the age of 87. He grew up on the South Side of Chicago, married his high school sweetheart Kay, raised their children in Wilmette, then moved to Highland Park and later Northbrook. Dennis took pride in working as a fundraiser for many organizations including the JUF-Chicago, Easter Seals and Brandeis University and for building trustworthy relationships as a passionate and persuasive salesman. He loved being a husband, father, Zayde, and Great Grampa. He loved talking with and spending time with his children and grandchildren, sharing articles and information he thought would impact their lives. Denny is the beloved husband of the late Kay; loving dad to Myles Snyderman, Susie (Tod) Ohley and Debby (Brad) Nahrstadt; adored Zayde to T.J. (Kristina) Ohley, Shayna (Mike) Habecker, Benny (Steph) Nahrstadt, Josh (Emily) Nahrstadt, and Max and Jake Snyderman; proud Great Grampa to Tully Habecker; cherished son of the late Max and Frances Snyderman; dear brother of the late Perry (the late Elaine) Snyderman and the late Bob (the late Ilse) Snyderman; treasured brother-in-law of Danny (Vivi) Goldsmith, Marty (Steph) Goldsmith and Vicki (the late Marshall) Friedman; devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews.
