Harold James Heyman, M.D. “Jimmy”, 86, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Bettendorf, Iowa. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith (née Stiefel) for 40 years and Barbara (née Biegler) Fox-Heyman for 25 years. He was the much-loved brother of the late Ruth (the late Norman) Ritter and a treasured uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.

“Doc” was raised in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago and was an alumnus of the University of Illinois Chicago Medical School. He served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War. An extraordinary man, Harold was kind, passionate, thoughtful, and caring.
