David and Rachel I am so saddened to learn of Maxine’s passing. Please accept my sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies. Having lost my amazing wife, Gail, 6 years ago after 43 years of marriage, I understand what you are going through. I lost my best friend, life partner and soulmate and that was a big blow. David, I’m sure Maxine was to you as Gail was to me. I can tell you that time helps healing, but you will always have her in your heart. May her memory be a blessing. God bless David and Rachel.

Maxine and I loved each other like sisters. Our families did all kinds of things together. Maxine, David, Sam’zl and I travelled together to CA, NV, ISRAEL and other points that interested all of us. She was an amazing woman, yes with that perpetual smile and kind heart. She convinced me to be an organ donor with her donation. I hope I am as lucky to save someone else’s life when I’m gone.
Max you took a piece of my heart but not the great memories of the things we did together. Gone too sone and so unexpectedly. I’ll love you and someday we will be together again.

My Mom, Faith Flicker, had so many happy times with her favorite cousins Maxine and Kenny. So many wonderful photos that we all enjoyed of the family holidays when they were kids. The service was so touching and beautiful. Much Love to the family.

When I first came to Chicago shortly after starting to date Joshua, Maxine welcomed me into the family and into her home with a warm smile and open arms. She always had a smile on her face and took care of those around her. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, spending time and a meal with family, getting a massage at the spa, sitting by the pool on vacation.

She had a generous spirit, as evidence by her death saving the lives of three others.
We will miss you greatly, thank you for blessing our lives.

I got to know Maxine through our love of mahjong. She was such a special person, quiet mannered and funny and she became a wonderful new friend. I will miss her. Sending my deepest condolences to her family. May all your wonderful memories be of comfort to you. May she rest in peace
