Obituary
Joseph Marcus Siegman, 83, passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2026, surrounded by the family and friends he cherished most. Beloved husband of Pam (nee’ Rosen); cherished father of Greg and Michelle; adored uncle of Jeff (Robin) Lande, Blair Lande, Andy (Miriam) Siegal and Jeff Siegal; adored brother of Sheilah (the late Barry) Siegal; dear great uncle of Zoey, Jared, Ben, Taylor, Austin and Bryant; “Papa Joe” to Taylor (Ben), Tori, Nick, Annie and Maddie; MUJ to Maxwell Joseph; and devoted son of the late Solomon and Marion.
Joe was a Division I athlete and graduated from the University of Arizona. He served overseas in the United States Army before beginning a decades-long career in the financial and investment sector. He had a deep and abiding love for dogs, especially those who were part of his own family: his military K9 Chance, Kip, Velvet, Seka, Tug, Mojito and Javi, each of whom brought him great comfort and companionship. Joe will be remembered for his steady strength, profound kindness, sense of humor, patriotism, love for Israel and quiet generosity that defined his life.
A private family service will be held at Shalom Memorial Park on Monday, April 13 at 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at North Shore Congregation Israel at 11:30 AM.
Shiva will be held at the congregation immediately following the memorial service until 4:30 PM. Memorial donations may kindly be made to the Jewish National Fund, www.jnf.org, or Tri-County Animal Rescue Boca Raton Florida, www.tricountyanimalrescue.org. Joe and I became associated through Morgan Stanley, I worked at one of its businesses and Joe as a financial advisor all in the same building. He also became my broker, and we soon learned we both were University of Arizona graduates. I would occasionally walk down to his office to chat and sit by his life-sized stuffed gorilla. No matter how busy he was he always made time to chat. Joe was the consummate professional and friend, always remembering my birthday long after we both retired.

I’ve known Joey since he was 10 years old. Is the younger brother of my dear friend Sheila h. Like most younger brothers, he was a pesky little kid who grew into a fine man with a beautiful family. My heart goes out to all of them.

Just saw this…
.please accept our deepest sympathy. Joe would come to our store (with Pam) and eat lunch, when in town. We enjoyed him and his stories and talked about family. He will be missed greatly.

I am so grateful to be one of the many people who knew & loved Joe. Through tears come smiles just remembering so many fun, funny family stories, & all the hours Joe & Irving spent together discussing Israel, Elie Wiesel, & the financial markets. He approached life with the same intensity & talent he brought to the game/market. He was a true Abrahamson friend & inspiration, but even more a devoted, beloved husband to Pam, father, & the best doggie Dad ever! He was a beacon of light for his family, & his spirit will be with all of us forever.
With so much LOVE,

The thing I remember most about Joe was that he scored a double eagle playing golf at his club. That was two strokes on par on a par five hole. That is something far more rare than than a hole in one! Only a few professional golfers have ever accomplished that. Rest in peace, my friend. Your pain and suffering is over.
