Mike was a great neighbor and good man. We shared many laughs at parties and good times over the years. He helped me out with a temporary job when Chicago teachers were on strike. He will be greatly missed and we send deep sympathies to Carol, Jean, Andrew and all his family members.

Mike was a witty person! Clever and engaged, and very committed to his family. He will be missed. May his memory be a blessing. With love from the Pittsburgh/Harris family.

While still in high school three of us (Mike and Mike Hilborn and I) went to Florida for 4 days alone. Stay in a motel and had no problem staying out of trouble. We used to rent a boat and go fishing on the Chain of Lake (Pistaki Lake) at dawn on Sunday mornings in the summers. When the skiers and speed boaters came out, we left. I also remember fondly being in a bowling league on Devon Avenue with Mike, his dad Paul and his uncle Al Cohen. Mike also had his own car, a Simca. The passenger seat folded flat. And of course, Mike loved to golf and was a very competent shortstop for our softball team.

Mike will always be remembered as the guy who was so smart, knew about all subjects, had a great sense of humor, and a great “cruise buddy”! He will be sorely missed.
