Renee Halperin, 88, née Bloomberg, adored daughter of the late Tillie and Mort Bloomberg; beloved wife of the late Donald Halperin; loving mother of Shari (the late David) Damlich, and Lauri (Ken) Winkler; cherished Nanni of Jeffrey (Jessica Zier) Horwitz, Jennifer (Paul) Balash, Matthew (Elizabeth) Damlich, Ally Winkler and Max Winkler, and Danielle Zabrauskas (daughter of Jami Zabrauskas); doting great-grandmother of Grayson, Nate, Wes and Lyla; dear sister of Carole (Stan) Derdiger. Renee was a treasured aunt, cousin and friend to many. In lieu of flowers, donations in Renee’s honor may be made to the Jewish United Fund (JUF), www.juf.org.
