Donna Gordon, nee Trachtman, age 84, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, in Highland Park, Illinois. She was the beloved wife of the late Barry Fradin for 29 years, and later in life was married to the late Harold Gordon. Born and raised in Chicago, Donna remained a true Chicagoan at heart, no matter where life took her. She was a vibrant and unforgettable presence—stylish, spirited, and, in her later years, very much the life of the party in the eyes of her family. Above all, Donna cherished her family. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her children and granddaughters and hearing about their lives, activities, and accomplishments. She is survived by her daughter, Stacey Bloom, and son-in-law, Jonathan Bloom; her son, Shawn Fradin, and daughter-in-law, Hanna Fradin; and her four granddaughters, Bari and Jenna Bloom, and Marlee and Leah Fradin. Donna was the devoted sister of the late Steven Trachtman (Sandi) and the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Sara Trachtman. She was also a dearly loved aunt and cousin. Donna’s warmth, spirit, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
